Our basecamp at Callies in the Red River Gorge is near the heart of the Daniel Boone National Forest. Enjoy all the outdoor activities the area has to offer during Appalachia’s peak fall colors. Go off road touring on the Daniel Boone Backcountry Byway or Kentucky Adventure Trail. Drive the Red River Gorge Scenic Byway. Hike to one of 150 sandstone aches, try climbing, canoeing, zip lining, underground kayaking, and amazing local dining all within minutes of camp. Meet back at basecamp each day to visit the vendor village, gather around the campfires and maybe win a fabulous prize in our raffles and giveaways.

OTR 2025 Rustic Camping Pass
OTR Pass With Rustic Camping is for one (1) adult and one (1) vehicle including: Rustic campsite or festival-style camping (as available) from Thursday after 2pm – Sunday morning for 1 vehicle (and one small trailer up to 13 ft,) event tshirt, sticker and swag bag, all basecamp activities, entry into nightly vendor giveaways, one free raffle ticket for the Daniel Boone Backcountry Byway grand prize raffle donated by Dan Cummins Auto. Passenger ticket sold separately.

OTR 2026 Passenger Ticket
This ticket is for one adult passenger and includes an event tshirt, sticker and swag bag, all basecamp activities, entry into nightly vendor giveaways, one free raffle ticket for the Daniel Boone Backcountry Byway grand prize raffle donated by Dan Cummins Auto. Kids under 18 are free, because of the nature of the event and insurance restrictions, no drivers under 18 are allowed to participate in any rides originating from Overland the Red.

OTR 2026 Electric site camping pass
OTR Pass With Camping is for one (1) adult and one (1) vehicle including: Electric site from Thursday after 2pm – Sunday morning for 1 RV/vehicle and trailer, event tshirt, sticker and swag bag, all basecamp activities, entry into nightly vendor giveaways, one free raffle ticket for the Daniel Boone Backcountry Byway grand prize raffle donated by Dan Cummins Auto. All electric sites have both 30 and 50 amp. They also have two standard 110 outlets.
