4th Annual National Forest Cleanup Day & Campout

Join Northology Adventures for a free stewardship campout and cleanup in the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest, made possible through our partnership with Tread Lightly! and support from the BFGoodrich Outstanding Trails program. We’ll spend the weekend giving back to the forest we love, with free camping, giveaways, and PPE and cleanup equipment provided. If you have a truck and/or trailer that can help haul collected trash, please bring it!

The event is free, but registration is required so we can plan for volunteers, camping and equipment. We’ll meet at a ranger station in either Lakewood or Laona, with the final location, schedule and project details coming soon.

NOTE: Cleanup is on Saturday, November 7th. Campout is Friday 11/6- Sunday 11/8

Friday

  • 5:00 PM — Camp opens / arrival & setup
  • Evening — Casual campfire and meet & greet

Saturday

  • 8:30 AM — Depart camp for Ranger Station
  • 9:00 AM — Cleanup meetup, safety briefing & team assignments
  • 9:30 AM–3:00 PM — National Forest cleanup project
  • 3:00 PM — Cleanup wraps / return to camp
  • 3:00–7:00 PM — Free time, dinner & relax
  • 7:00 PM — Giveaways, project recap, campfire & fellowship

Sunday

This ticket allows businesses and individuals to contribute directly to the cleanup and stewardship project. Your support helps cover swag, giveaways, food, dumpster rental, volunteer needs and other event expenses while helping us leave the National Forest better than we found it.
